1. Reservation and Payment Policy
By placing a reservation with Avantu, you expressly acknowledge and agree to the following terms. You authorize Avantu Chauffeur Service to charge your credit card for the full amount or a partial deposit related to your booking.
This includes the right to charge the full fare in the event of a no-show. Once the cancellation period has passed, service is considered rendered—whether or not you enter the vehicle.

2. Privacy Policy
At Avantu, your privacy matters. We never sell, rent, or share your personal or financial information with third parties. Information you provide is used solely to deliver requested services and process payments in accordance with our rates, policies, and terms.

3. Cancellation Policy
Cancellations must be made via email, fax, or phone.
Airport Transfers (Arrivals & Departures): Cancellations must be received at least 24 hours before pickup time.
Round Trips: Cancellations for both legs must be communicated together.
Hourly Charters / Point-to-Point Transfers: Require a minimum 24-hour notice.
Weddings & Graduation Packages:
Up to 4 hours: Cancellation required 24 hours before pickup.
Over 4 hours: Deposit is non-refundable if canceled within 24 hours of pickup.

4. No-Show Policy
A client is considered a no-show if:
The passenger has not met their chauffeur or contacted Avantu within 30 minutes of the scheduled pickup time (or 45 minutes for international arrivals).
In such cases, the full fare will be charged. To avoid this, always contact Avantu Chauffeur Service Vancouver before leaving your pickup location.

5. Vehicle Request Policy
Avantu reserves the right to upgrade your vehicle at no additional charge when necessary to accommodate your reservation.
Specific vehicle types or colors can only be guaranteed for bookings of 4 hours or more.

6. Alcohol Policy
In accordance with Vancouver, BC laws, alcohol is strictly prohibited in all chauffeur-driven vehicles. The passenger is fully responsible for any fines or tickets resulting from violations.

7. Acts of God / Uncontrollable Circumstances
Avantu is not liable for delays or cancellations caused by factors beyond our control, including but not limited to traffic congestion, weather, road closures, flight delays, or other acts of nature.

8. Lost or Damaged Items
Avantu is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged belongings left in the vehicle.
If found, items can be returned for a delivery fee. Chauffeurs may assist with luggage but assume no liability for handling it.

9. Vehicle Damage and Cleaning Fees
The client or the party making the reservation is responsible for any damage or cleaning charges incurred.
Fees include (but are not limited to):
Vomit/Sickness: $250 cleaning fee
Alcohol spill: $150 cleaning fee
Burns repair: $500, replacement: $1,000
Upholstery tears: $300–$1,500
Broken window: Up to $2,000
Exterior damage (e.g., car door impact): $500–$3,000

10. Termination of Service
Avantu reserves the right to terminate any reservation without refund if:
The passenger’s behavior endangers the chauffeur, vehicle, or other parties.
Illegal substances or materials are found in possession of passengers.
Service will be canceled immediately, and no refund will be issued.

11. Payment Methods
We accept:
💳 Cash | Debit | Visa | MasterCard | AMEX | E-Transfer | WeChat Pay | Alipay | Apple Pay | Wire Transfer
All payments, including gratuities, are charged before pickup. Clients paying by cash or debit must settle the fare upon vehicle arrival before service begins.

12. Credit Card & Voucher Verification
All clients must present their physical credit card and sign the emailed or faxed voucher at pickup.
Exceptions apply only for corporate accounts or pre-approved third-party authorizations on file.

13. Hourly Reservations
Hourly bookings require a minimum number of hours, which may vary by vehicle type or date.
Billing is calculated based on the reserved hours, then in 15-minute increments thereafter.
Reduction of booked hours on the trip day is not permitted.

14. Special Event Deposit Policy
For weddings, concerts, and other special events, a 20%–50% deposit and a signed agreement are required to confirm your booking.

15. Rates, Billing & Surcharges
All rates are subject to verification after the trip to include:
Tolls, parking fees, waiting time, additional stops, and other applicable charges.
Rates include applicable taxes and a 15% gratuity.
Out-of-pocket charges such as airport or road fees will be added to the final invoice.

16. Rate Changes
Avantu reserves the right to adjust rates with notice. If you disagree with revised rates, Avantu may decline to provide service.

17. Adding Extra Time
Need to extend your ride? Extra time can be added based on vehicle availability. Charges apply per 15-minute increment.
